Red Hook Lobster on the Run!
We hear the Red Hook Lobster Pound is headed south — to DC.
Initially the folks behind the Red Hook Lobster Pound had hopes of bringing a lobster truck to the street of New York, but with a shortage of new permits being issued by the city, they began to look elsewhere.
For all you DC folks out there, they should be rolling out Maine-style (cold, with mayo) and Connecticut-style (warm, butter) lobster rolls by the end of June.
For the rest of you, next time you head down the I-95, look for lobster on the run.
