McDonald’s Dollar Menu? Not quite.
According to the Brooklyn Paper DUMBO’s One Front Street plans to entice the recession-weary with their own take on the dollar menu — that is homemade fruit-infused vodka shots, burger sliders and other specials for just a buck every Wednesday through Sunday throughout the month of March.
Unlike the McD’s dollar menu, however, there is a catch. On Thursdays, for example, sliders are $1 with the purchase of a beer.
Owner Marcelo Pevida told the BP he plans on being his own number one customer. These must be tight times when even the owner isn’t getting comped.
