Brunch at Seersucker
A few weekends ago, we finally made our way down to Seersucker to check out brunch. Though Seersucker has taken a fair amount of flack from the city’s critics, I’ve found it to be a consistently good place, all three times I’ve been (though I will concede, as some have pointed out, the food is [...]
The Best Thing We Ate and Drank
The Best Thing We Drank — Dixie Michelada: If a community as freewheeling as the beer geeks could ever be polarized, there may be a division on the subject of beer cocktails. Seersucker: Now Brunching

Chef Rob Newton will be dishing up half a spicy fried chicken along with iceberg slaw, black eyed peas, white bread and buttermilk dipping sauce for $18. According [...]

Seersucker is a dressed-up homage to Chef Robert Newton’s Arkansas childhood, a collaboration between Newton, a Le Cirque veteran and private chef, and his girlfriend, Kerry Diamond.
“When Rob came to New York, he was so surprised [...]
New Blog in Town: Epicurean Musician
Last Sunday, at the (delicious) friends and family night for Seersucker, we had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Gordon, a Carroll Gardens resident who runs a great new blog called Epicurean Musician. The blog combines two passions: live music and, of course, food.
My thoughts on Seersucker will be up here and in the Brooklyn Paper [...]
